The Indian Land Warriors continue their dominant playoff run, securing a 92-67 victory over Easley to advance to the third round of the South Carolina 5A Playoffs. From the opening tip, the Warriors controlled the game, showcasing high-energy defense, elite shot-making, and electric finishes at the rim.
Mike Jones once again led the charge, delivering a fantastic all-around performance with 25 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, and 4 steals. His leadership and ability to take over the game were on full display as the Warriors kept the pressure on Easley from start to finish.
Sequel Patterson put together a strong 20-point performance, but it was his highlight-reel one-handed breakaway dunk in the third quarter that had the crowd on their feet. While the Warriors were already up big, the play was a reminder of just how much firepower this team brings to the court.
But the biggest story of the night? Freshman guard Donovin “The Puzzle” Jones. The young star stepped up on the big stage, finishing with 15 points and shooting 4-6 from three. His clutch shooting and poise under pressure showed why he’s earning his nickname—he’s the piece that fits anywhere the Warriors need him.
Now, a familiar challenge awaits. Indian Land will face rival Fort Mill for the third time this season in the third round. The stakes are higher than ever, and the Warriors will need every bit of energy from their fans to push them into the next round.
